- Place: Somewhere in North Carolina. They are keeping the location a secret to avoid retaliation for unleashing Wendell on the world.
- Parents: Yep, two of them. Really. Despite popular notion, Wendell was not hatched under a rock somewhere.
- Marital Status: Sorry girls, but Wendell has been married for over 33 wonderful years to the love of his life, Zelma.
- Education: BA in Christian Studies with emphasis in Practical Theology and Bible from Howard Payne University. Currently working on Master of Library Information Science degree from University of North Texas. This particular page is being used for my home page for SLIS5717 - WWW. Control Structures under Dr. Chen. Besides hoping to make it through the class while working full time, my aspirations are to learn enough here to begin adding dynamic content to my library website.

Interests and Hobbies
Faith · Wendell is a committed, born again, Christian and an ordained minister. Though not currently on a church staff, he has been an associate pastor and part of a 3 person pastoral team. He has an avid interest in subjects of faith and especially apologetics.
Politics · Wendell has an active interest in politics and current events. He is politically very conservative, which makes for an interesting life in the world of libraries! He is active in at least one political blog, Blonde Sagacity as a regular commenter and occasional contributor. (Warning: Some commenters on this blog use rather coarse and offensive language, so be prepared!). If he has time, he hopes to start his own blog back up some day.
Computers · If you walked into Wendell's house, you would see all sorts of computer and high tech stuff. Hey, he got the bug back in 1974 when a friend took Wendell to his employer's computer room. From there, it was all downhill. Wendell became a programmer, and eventually left programming to be a systems administrator. He still remembers the days of punch cards and no video terminals. He also remembers when Pong was the greatest thing. Oh the wasted hours!
Photography · Wendell has always loved taking pictures. In high school, he was given an old Petri rangefinder camera and played around with photography. He later bought a beginners SLR and enjoyed that. Unfortunately, he gave up the hobby in favor of computers, but in the last 7 or so years, has picked it up again. Though he does not consider himself to be anywhere near professional level, he does enjoy trying to improve his technique. His camera of choice is a Sony A700 DSLR and is often carrying it around with him to festivals, the beach and anywhere he thinks he can get the shot. He likes to hold the camera up to the side of his head or down low and guesstimate the shot so he can catch people off their guard. So far he hasn't gotten slapped or arrested!
